Yes, its been, like, a month, and I have no artwork to show for. Well, the bad habits of not being able to finish something I start it part of it, yes, but I've just...hell, I have no excuss..... I have gottin nowhere with my raptor drawing for my sister; nowhere with my Captian Jack charcoal drawing for DemonXofXLight's's birthday that was miliniums ago; I'm planning on restarting Spyro and Dragon Me photoshop to do something esier - outline, then color (becasue I'm beginning to hate them both; the colored pencil tiger - I have no idea what I'm going to do with that, but I think its as godd as shot.

Good news, though, I have started an oil painting for my mom for Mother's Day. I'm about 1/4 of the way done, now (nothing much to show for it, though) but I'm soo proud of my self! Ihaven't oil painted since I was in 4th grade - 4 years ago and there is an ASTOUNDING difference between this piece and the pieces I did back then. Anyway, I'm going to try to finish it up this weekend, by Sunday for Mother's Day. My mom has seen it, though, and has shown no intrest in it whatsoever, which ticks me off - just to get the 1/4 background done took me about three hours... -.-

I'm painting a close-up macro-ed picture of one of my mom's flowers. It's amaxing shot - and the canvas is 16" x 20", so I think a close-up of something so small so detailed on such a large canvas is going to look amazing! If my mom doesn't care for it, I'm going to give it to my grandma for Mother's Day/ her birthday. (every once in a while, her birthday falls on Mother's Day, and we celebrate the both of them during the smae Sunday family dinner, so I gotta get it done by then!
