This is something I just drew and colored from a how-to book a while back. It was supposed to be a Scarlet Macaw, but I colored it as a Blue-Gold Macaw, because my Blue-Gold, Admiral, is up in Georgia with a girlfriend and I miss him.
 He was a cool bird, though, 'cause he HATED other men!  Poor thing thought he was a person! That's why he has a BIRD girlfriend. Took him forever just to get used to Joey, let alone let her in the nest! (Joey's owner thought she was a boy...) So, thats it! Hope you like it! EDIT - contrasted, darkened, background cleaned also - an update on the real Admiral bird, his wife, Joey, past away due to a calcium deficiancy So now Admiral is more mischevious and angry than ever before. He is wild and won't except any other female blue-gold macaws and (as i'm told) literally tries to kill them  So...he's not doing so well now. He's been dubed unfit to be a pet. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
